Concept

Experience the Season of Change

Spring is a time of renewal. Light softens, the wind shifts, and the colors of the sea change little by little.

Children observe, question, and express what they feel through direct encounters with nature.

Not taught — discovered.

Spring Explorers is a quiet retreat before the new school year. Two weeks of experiencing the season of change through all five senses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it okay if my child doesn't speak English or Japanese? +
Not a problem at all. Daily activities are conducted primarily in English, with Japanese support available. Bilingual staff are always present, so neither parents nor children need to worry about language.
Where is the school located? +
Within walking distance of Kamakura Station and Wadazuka Station. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away.
How many days can my child attend? +
You can join from just one day. We recommend attending multiple days, but single-day participation is also welcome.
What should my child bring? +
There's nothing special you need to prepare. Lunch, uniforms, drinking water, diapers, and all other necessities are provided by the school.
What happens on rainy days? +
We flexibly adapt the program based on the weather. We also have a full range of indoor atelier and inquiry-based activities.
What kind of meals are provided? +
Our school chef prepares lunch and snacks fresh in the kitchen. We use vegetables from partner farms in Kamakura and quality ingredients, with meals that are nutritionally balanced and reflect the season.
Can you accommodate children who need diapers? +
Yes, absolutely. We provide support as needed, and spare diapers are always available at the school.
Can I drop off later or pick up earlier than the scheduled time? +
We're happy to be flexible — just let us know when you book.
